A 15-year-old Pattonsburg boy was seriously injured last night when he jumped into the path of a moving ATV driven by another teenager.

The accident happened shortly after five pm on Oak Street in Pattonsburg.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Elijah Wolfe was walking along Oak Street when he jumped into the path of a Honda 250 Big Red.  Wolfe was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver of  the ATV,  15-year-old Dalton Hobson of Pattonsburg, was not injured.
