United Way Success By 6®, Parents as Teachers and the St. Joseph Public Library are offering a free parents/child class to address connections.
The class, Loving Connections will be held on Sat., May 16 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the East Hills Branch of the St. Joseph Public Library, 502 N. Woodbine Road, for children age 6 years and under and their parents.
The agencies said Ronda Chesney, retired preschool and elementary school teacher, will lead participants through some great ways to connect to their children through “I Love You Rituals” by Becky Bailey. These rituals help create wonderful connections in a fun and loving way. This session will be focused on infants and toddlers, but all parents of children from birth to kindergarten are welcome. All participants will be also be given a brand new book to add to their home library.
