A 20-year-old woman from Maysville, Missouri is dead after the crash of a Utility Task Vehicle on a farm field southeast of Cameron.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol identifies the victim as Danielle Rupell. Ms Rupell was one of two passengers on the UTV. The other, Shelbie Thomas, 21, of Maysville, suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment. The driver, 17-year-old Zane Edwards of Cameron, was not injured.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Mr Edwards was driving the Polaris 800 XP near Buck Road five miles southeast of Cameron.

Shortly after 5:30pm Wednesday the vehicle went down an embankment, slid on the muddy ground, hit a tree and then overturned.
