The United Way is offering a new informational program this year called “Taste of United Way” in an effort to educate the community on United Way programs and partner agencies.
On Wednesday, June 10 at 11:45 a.m. the agency will hold a free luncheon to talk about one of its partner agencies, the Boy Scouts of America Pony Express Council. The event will be held at 1704 Buckingham St. (Scout Office)
While there is no cost to attend, the agency said space is limited. Reservations can be made by calling (816) 364-2381.
Taste of United Way events will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:45 a.m. and the locations will change each month.
