An ATV crash north of Forest City claimed the life of an Oregon, Missouri man. The Missouri State highway Patrol says Patrick Meyer was driving along 270th St in Holt County when the right front tire of his four-wheeler rolled into a rut, causing the vehicle to overturn.

According to the crash report, the vehicle ejected Mr Meyer and landed on top of him.

The accident is believed to have occurred between 2:00 and 3:35pm Sunday. Meyer was pronounced dead at the scene.
