After a convincing 45-7 victory over the Truman State Bulldogs last weekend on homecoming at Missouri Western the Griffons improve to 6-2 overall. The Griffons are ranked 7th in the first South Central Regional Poll which was released on Monday, October 24.

Western will hit the road for their final non-conference game of the season when they travel to Bolivar, Mo. to take on the Southwest Baptist Bearcats. Game time is set for 2:00 pm from Plaster Stadium.

Four other MIAA school are ranked in the poll with Pittsburg State sitting in second, Northwest Missouri State in third, Washburn in 4th and Central Missouri in 10th.
