A woman charged with 2nd degree murder in a fatal stabbing in April will remain in jail as she awaits trial. Associate Circuit Court Judge Keith Marquart denied a defense motion to set bond for Kelli Hoard Reeves, one of three defendants charged with murder in the death of Richard Berry.

Judge Marquart told Ms Reeves and her lawyer that he’s already ruled Ms. Hoard is a danger to the community. Judge Marquart refused to set bond in the case. Ms Hoard waived her right to a preliminary hearing, and is scheduled for circuit court arraignment next week.

Two men, Primalton Peterson and Sean Liechti, were also charged. Both await formal arraignment later.

Police found Mr Berry’s body in the Third Fork of the Platte River near Easton in April. Officials believe he was taken to the remote location in a robbery attempt. He was stabbed multiple times and then dumped in the river.
