Brown, Linda. obitphotoLinda Faith (Strong) Brown, 51, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care.
She was born February 3, 1964 to Melvin and Lillie Mae (Pope) Strong in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
She married Arthur Brown, Sr. on August 3, 1981.
Linda cared for her family and was known to do anything for anyone; she would even go to war if needed. Her favorite part of the day was hearing her grand babies say Gami. She enjoyed shopping, going to the boat and playing bingo. She treasured being home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joe Anderson, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Ralph McGill.
Survivors include her husband; children, Arthur Brown, Jr., Ta’Shekia Faith Brown and Zyan Reymone Smith Brown; grandchildren, Ta’koda Charles Kretzer Brown and Tate Madden Brown; siblings, Deloise Anderson, Ruth Pearl Strong Liner (Richard), Cary “Duke” Strong (Lauran), Arvesta Yates (Shelby), Willie Earl Strong, Melvin Strong, Jr. (Sadie), Daisy Lee McIntyre (Willie), Careen Strong, Allen Strong and Ella Mae McGill; niece, Reyaunte Strong Tillman; and a host of other nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Norma M. (Gay-Carr) Webb
1926-2015

Webb, Norma obit photoNorma M. (Gay-Carr) Webb, 89, of Hamilton, Missouri passed away Sunday August 16, 2015 at St. Luke’s North Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
She was born April 23, 1926 to William and Marcia (Hailey) Gay in Whitesville, Missouri.
She attended Rosendale High School and graduated from Central High School. She then attended Platt-Gard Business College.
Norma married George I. Carr on March 2, 1946. He preceded her in death in June of 2003. She later married Marvin C. Webb on February 19, 2005. He preceded her in death in December of 2012.
She was a homemaker and worked at Whitaker Cable before retiring in 1986 after 20 years of service.
She was a member of Copeland Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school for more than 20 years. She was also a member of the VFW Post #1668 Auxiliary Legion Post #169.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia A. (Carr) Young; granddaughter, Margaret L. Stevens; and brother, Walter D. Gay.
Survivors include her son, Larry E. Carr, St. Joseph Missouri; three grandchildren, Cindy M. Sanson (Jesse), Hamilton, Missouri, Jimmy L. Williams Jr. (LaDena), St. Joseph Missouri and Phyllis A. Sharp (Johnnie), Lenapah, Oklahoma; 13 great grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren.
The family will gather with friends 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Farewell Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Marjorie Manning
1923-2015

Manning, Marjorie. obitphotoMarjorie Manning, 92, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born June 11, 1923 in Ten Mile, Missouri.
During World War II she worked at a War Plant in Kansas City, Kansas. She subsequently was a well-known waitress on the Plaza in Kansas City, retiring at the age of 79 from the House of Toy
Margorie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jessie (Kaighen) Manning; and sister, Venita Nichols.
Survivors include sister, Wilma Sagaser; niece, Emily Drake (Carter); nephew, Robert Sagaser (Carolyn); and niece, Evelyn Leeson.

Margie Glasgow
1937-2015

Margie Glasgow, 78, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born June 18, 1937 to Fred and Eva Wiseman.
Margie married Wayne Williamson. She later married James Glasgow who preceded her in death in 2004.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and son, Mike Williamson.
Survivors include her son, David Williamson; daughter Lynda Grenade; grandchildren, Tamyra, Kriss and Floyd; and several great-grandchildren.

Sandra Kathleen Graham
1937-2015

20150818-154040_GrahamSandySandra Kathleen Graham 78, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 in a Saint Joseph, health care center. She was born March 31, 1937 in Burlington Junction, MO, daughter of M. Lucille and Harold “Curt” Plummer. She graduated from Burlington Junction High School and worked at the Frederick Inn & Hoof & Horn restaurants for many years. Sandy enjoyed traveling, going to Broadway shows, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Catholic faith. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Russell Dean Graham, sister Delores Ann Plummer, brother, R. Leon Plummer, sister in law and dearest friend, Sally Ashler, son in law James Kelly Williams, and a great grandson ZiDarius Warner. Survivors include six children: Theresa (Bill) Smith of Faucett, MO, Curtis (Maggie) Graham of Kansas City, MO, Marcia Williams of St. Joseph, MO, Christina McLaughlin of Stewartsville, MO, Brenda Canchola of St. Joseph, MO, and Amy (Randy) Hecklinski of Marietta, GA, and 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and her former husband, Dean Graham.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 AM Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Father Eric Schneider officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 6 PM Wednesday with the family to receive friends until 8pm at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Inurnment will be at the Burlington Junction Cemetery, at a later date.
