Motorist injured, arrested, after Harrison County crash

Train With MSHPA traffic accident in Harrison County Tuesday morning landed the driver in jail.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Robert Hardman of Grand Prairie, Texas was driving an box truck along I-35 south of Bethany when he lost control of the vehicle. The truck left the roadway, hit a mile-marker sign and then overturned.

Mr Hardman suffered minor injuries in the crash, and was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital for treatment.

The Patrol then took Mr Hardman into custody on a 24-hour hold. Investigators said he had no valid license and was in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. He’s also accused of careless and imprudent driving, and operating a commercial motor vehicle without a log book, medical card, or traffic triangles.
