St Joseph police searched a Midtown neighborhood Thursday morning after an armed robbery in the 1300 block of Frederick.

Capt. Jeff Wilson said a black man wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask indicated he had a firearm and demanded cash from the clerk at the Wood’s Mini Mart at 1334 Frederick.

Descriptions at the scene noted he was about 5’8″ tall and weighed about 180 pounds.

There were unconfirmed sightings of the suspect in the area, but officials have not reported any arrests. There were no injuries. The man got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
