Two men were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries after a commercial vehicle crash two miles west of Stewartsville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol around 7:18 a.m. 54-year-old James Jesse of Mount Sterling, Illinois was driving a 2015 Volvo Tractor-Trailer westbound on US 36 and failed to navigate the curve causing it to run off the right side of the roadway and roll onto its side. The commericial vehicle ended up blocking traffic on westbound US 36 highway while crews worked the scene.
The Missouri Department of Transportation issued a warning to drivers letting them know it would take quite some time to clear the scene because the truck was fully loaded at the time of the incident.
James Jesse and a passenger, 25-year-old Adam Jesse of Illinois were both taken by Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of minor injuries.
