Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians from several agencies are partnering to offer a free car seat installation check today at the City of St. Joseph Health Department.

The city said car seat installation checks reassure parents and caregivers they are using seats that are not expired or on a recall list, are appropriate for the age and size of the child, and are installed and used correctly.

The CPS Techs will be available today from 10:00 a.m. to Noon in the parking lot north of Patee Market Health Center, 904 S. 10th Street. The city said anyone who transports children under the age of eight is welcome.
