FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — A week-old puppy found alive in a St. Louis-area clothing donation bin has a new home.

Nowhere on the charity’s bin does it say puppies are accepted, but that didn’t stop someone from still tossing one into a Ferguson receptacle.

The puppy was found among the contents of the Big Brothers Big Sisters donation bin.

The puppy was taken to an animal hospital. The dog already has been adopted.
