A Highland, Kansas teenager was injured in a single-vehicle crash shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday in Doniphan County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Hunter Idol lost control of his pickup along 240th Road near Casselton.  The truck hit a guardrail and then rolled multiple times down an embankment.

Mr Idol suffered what were described as disabling injuries and was transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment.  Hospital officials list him in “serious” condition Monday morning.
