A St. Joseph man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a one-vehicle rollover crash in Doniphan County.

According to Doniphan County Sheriff Deputy Raymond Hall, 61-year-old Rickey Lattin Sr. was eastbound on Kansas Highway 20 in a 2004 Ford Ranger pick-up just before 5 p.m. About two-tenths of a mile east of Bendena, Kan. Lattin went off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected and over-corrected again causing his vehicle to skid down the road.

“The tires caught and flipped the vehicle multiple times,” said Hall. “He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.”

Lattin was not wearing a seat belt.
