A truck driver from Minnesota suffered serious injuries in a crash along I-35 south of Bethany, Missouri Tuesday afternoon.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 59-year-old David Lemke of Burtrum, Minnesota was seriously hurt when his tractor-trailer left the interstate, hit a road sign and an emergency crossover.  The big rig then went airborne and struck the median, separating the trailer from the tractor.

Mr Lemke was taken by ambulance to Harrison County Community Hospital.
