The Kansas City Royals tied up the American League Series Monday beating the Houston Astros 9-6.

The teams are now tied 2-2 in the series, forcing a fifth game.

The Astros were are on the verge of eliminating AL Central champ Kansas City, taking a 2-1 lead into Game 4 this afternoon. But the Royals rallied and were holding a 9-6 lead in the ninth inning.

Game five will be played at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Wednesday at 7:07 p.m.
