An 86-year-old Holt County man was seriously injured Monday after a crash in Clinton County with a UPS truck.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Daye Richard was flown by lifenet to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries after pulling a 2013 Kia into the path of a UPS Delivery vehicle around 3:25 p.m. at the intersection of MO 116 and US 69. 42-year-old Gregory Potter of St. Joseph was the driver of the UPS vehicle and he was not injured.

The UPS truck was moderately damaged, Richard’s vehicle was listed as totaled. Richard was wearing a seat belt.
