FBI: Plane diverted KCI

According to the FBI a plane was diverted to KCI due to investigate possible suspicious behavior of three individuals but the individuals were later released.

The plane was scheduled to fly from Indianapolis to Los Angeles was diverted to Kansas City International airport at  approximately 7:50 a.m.  The flight crew diverted the flight to Kansas City out of an abundance of caution based upon suspicious behavior displayed by several passengers. 

The individuals in questions were deplaned and three individuals were questioned by law enforcement.  As a further safety measure, the remaining passengers were deplaned and K-9 teams “swept” the aircraft.  The aircraft was re-boarded and released to continue on its originally scheduled flight plan and departed at approximately 9:20 a.m.

After questioning, the three individuals in question have been rebooked
to continue on a later flight.
