She was born May 12, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Marion married Bob Edgmon on December 16, 1962 in San Diego, California. They later divorced.
Marion proudly served in the United States Navy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy (Jones) Thompson, Sr.; and sister-in-law, Joanne Thompson.
Survivors include son, Robert Edgmon (AiliDee); daughters, Kimberly Marshall (Stephen) and Jennifer Edgmon; grandchildren, Wood Marshall (Ashley), Josh Marshall and Gavin Blevins; brothers, Walt Thompson and John Thompson, Jr. (Anne); sisters, Jackie Asteris (Paul) and Patricia Flood (Michael); and several nieces and nephews.

DeShon, Doris. obitphoto Doris May DeShon, 94, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at her home in Mesa, Arizona.
She was born March 1, 1921 in Union Star, Missouri.
Doris married Caswell DeShon on August 28, 1939. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1999.
She was a member of Hi Way Baptist Church in Mesa, Arizona. While residing in St. Joseph she was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church.
She enjoyed family, travel, games and watching the Phoenix Suns.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Esther Ebersold of Union Star MO.
Survivors include daughter, Charlotte St. Denny (Dick), St. Joseph, MO; son, Wallace E. DeShon, (Joyce) Mesa, AZ; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Survivors also include sisters, Faye Adkins of Kansas City and Dorothy Teaford of Union Star; and brother, Clifton Ebersold of St Joseph.

He was a laborer for Bob Riley Roofing for 12 years.
Stoney was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ruth (Hamner) White; brother, William J. White; sister, Hazel E. Noland; and brother-in-law, Michael Noland.
Survivors include daughter, Stephanie Cummings; granddaughter, Emma Barnes; and several close friends and relatives.

Robert E. “Bob” Huffman
1928-2015

He was born December 23, 1928 in Helena, Missouri and proudly served in the United States Navy as a Seebee.
Robert married Dixie Jackson in October 1949 and passed away in 1980.
He was employed by James H. Overton/O’Malley beverage for many years. Bob a member of VFW Post #6760, American Legion Post #359, Southside LIONS Club and Southside Progressive Association. Bob was also a former member of Hyde Valley United Methodist Church.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife; parents, John and Annetta (Swink) Huffman; daughter, Louise Hodgin; and brothers, George, Max, Jewell and Glenn Huffman.
Survivors include sons, David Huffman (Donna), Dean Huffman (Rissa) and Rick Huffman (Linda), all of St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren, Andrea Cordonnier (Tim), Megan and Kendra Hodgin, Rebecca Martin (Eric), Dustin (Kitty), Brandon (Elizabeth), and Brooke and Danica Huffman; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Gauge, Preston, Kobe, Cayden, Jake, Zoe, Madison and Brandon; sisters, Margaret Bowland and JoAnn Hartbauer; brothers, J.D. (JoAnn), Jerry (Winona), Bill (Barbara) and Jimmy (Carolyn); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was born July 17, 1934 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Doyle married Shirley Hensley on August 26, 1954. She preceded him in death on November 22, 2004.
He worked for Carnation for 25 years as a general laborer and was a member of Francis Street First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Anderson was also preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary (Orwick) Anderson; sister, Mildred Fannon; and brothers, Carl and Don Anderson.
Survivors include daughters, Sara Anderson, Joyce Anderson, Cindy Allen, Terri Galvez (Vincentè), all of St. Joseph, Missouri, Karen Swing (Brian), Liberty, Missouri and Pam Morgan (Mark), Mexico, Missouri; sons, Doyle Anderson, Jr. (Cathy), Scott Anderson and Craig Anderson, all of St. Joseph, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Barbara Bincosky (John); brother, John Anderson (Martha); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deborah “Debbie” Sue Huffman

She was born November 19, 1951 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Louie and Helen (Peters) Smith. She graduated from Lafayette High School, she worked at the Bucket shop, then retired as the owner and operator of Debbie’s Wallpapering. She enjoyed gardening in her flower garden, spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Gary Huffman. Survivors include, daughter, Robin Rose of St. Joseph, MO, sons, Steven Rose of St. Cloud, MN, Brian (Jennifer) Huffman of Phoenix, AZ, Kevin Huffman, and Mark Huffman both of St. Joseph, MO, four grandchildren: Ryan Rose, Eli, Ava and Micaden Huffman, a great-granddaughter, Kinley Rose, three sisters, Dollene (William) Sanders of Kirksville, MO, Donna Newport of Kansas City, MO, Lynne (Dale) Loyd of Liberty, MO., and her long time companion Ronnie Wood of the home. Funeral services 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Rupp Chapel, with Rev. James Barnett officiating.
