St Joseph police are urging you to exercise caution during your morning drive.

By 6am police officers, deputies, troopers and paramedics were had responded to at least a half dozen traffic accidents and other problems made serious by the extreme cold.

I-229(N) @ I-29 (crash)

I-229(S) @ I-29 (crash)

US-36 west of 10th Street (crash)

NB I-29 north of US-36 (crash) [[Northbound I-29 was expected to be closed to allow a wrecker in to tow away a vehicle]]

There was also a water main break reported that was causing extremely hazardous driving conditions. Officials urge you to avoid the 1400-1500 N 3rd and 1500-1600 North Savannah Ave.
