Two people were hurt in a crash Saturday near Fairview, Kansas in Brown County.

State troopers say an SUV driven by 22-year-old Zachary Sandeffer of Atchison failed to yield the right of way at an on ramp onto US highway 36 west of Fairview shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday.

The vehicle hit the driver’s side door of an SUV driven by Jeni Lanter, age 20, of Hiawatha.

Sandeffer was transported to Hiawatha Hospital, and Lanter went to Sabetha hospital for treatment.
