St. Joseph police are investigating an armed robbery on the city’s south side Wednesday afternoon.

Sergeant Jayson Person said two men walked into the Boost Mobile outlet at 6400 King Hill Ave. at around 4:30 p.m., displayed a firearm and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbers left on foot heading west on Pawnee Street

“Nobody was hurt,” Sgt Person said. “There were no shots fired.”

“Hopefully we’ve got some good information to go on, and try to make a case on somebody. We’ve got questions as to who these guys are, of course, and we’re going to try to confirm that and make a case.”
