1987-2016

Neill, Tiffany. obitphotoTiffany Neill-Cordry, 28, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at her home with her family and friends by her side following a courageous battle against breast cancer.
She was born July 31, 1987 in Jacksonville, Florida.
She was a graduate of North Andrew High School Class of 2005 where she played softball and basketball. She worked for Suddenlink and was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church and was recently baptized.
Tiffany enjoyed sports and fishing. She knew her time was short so she lived her life to the fullest by going to her first Royals and Chiefs games, deer hunting and a family vacation to Branson. The most important part of her life were her children, whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Norris Sheppard; fraternal grandparents, Donald Neill and Bok Tae; and aunt. Nancy Sheppard.
Survivors include husband, Tyler; daughters, Lexi Hurt and Bella Cordry; mother, Susie Williams (Richard “Crash”); father, Bruce Neill; siblings, Jeramy Nester (Amy), Crystal Drennen (Dustan) and Josh Neill (Kelsi); nephews, Nate, Caleb, Mason and Kiptyn; nieces, Kendall and Abby Jo; and maternal grandmother, Jane Sheppard.
Farewell Services 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday. Ulmer, Barbara. obitphoto (1)Barbara H. Ulmer, 97, Kansas City, Missouri passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at Evergreen Community of Johnson County.
Barbara was born October 31, 1918 in Washington, D.C. and grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri.
We are very thankful for the outstanding care the staff of Evergreen Community of Johnson County and Evergreen Hospice provided to Barbara.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, William Roch Ulmer. She is survived by her daughter, Barbra Lebedun (Morty); grandson, Michael Allmon (Debby); and great-grandchildren, Mary and Robert.
Graveside Farewell Services & Inurnment 1:30 P.M. Thursday, Mount Mora Cemetery, 824 Mount Mora, St. Joseph, Missouri. The family will gather with friends 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M. Clela Fae Gurwell
1925-2016

Clela Fae Gurwell, 90, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at a local healthcare facility.
Daughter of Enos A. and Myrtle (Morehead) Gurwell, she was born November 17, 1925 near St. Joseph, Missouri.
She grew up and attended grade school near St. Joseph, Missouri. At nine years of age she moved with her farming family to the Clarksdale, Missouri area, where she attended grade school. Class of 1943 she graduated from Clarksdale High School. She then attended Platt Business College in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She was employed in the offices of Standard Oil Co. for nine years, Armour & Co. for 20 years and various other jobs retiring from AG Processing in 1990.
Miss Gurwell was an active member of the Maple Grove Congregation of the Community of Christ Church, north of Stewartsville, Missouri.
Clela was preceded in death by her parents, Enos and Myrtle Gurwell; brothers, Lyle, William, Robert and Norman Gurwell; twin sister, Lela Mae Adamski and sister, Lavon McGervey; one niece; and three great nephews.
Survivors include Ray and Faye Gurwell and Cathy and Steve Johnson who cared for her for many years; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Farewell Services and Interment 3:00 P.M. Thursday, Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Linda (Bohon) Terry
1948-2016

Terry, Linda. obitphotoLinda (Bohon) Terry, 67, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at her home.
She was born December 5, 1948 in Hannibal, Missouri.
Linda married Vernon Terry on September 7, 1973.
She was a homemaker and housewife whose main priority and love was her family. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and horses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Mary (Kelly) Bohon; brother, Ronald Bohon; sister, Mary Miller; grandson, Christopher Terry; and great-grandson, Caden Blanton.
Survivors include husband; children, John Mahan, Kelly Reid, Denise Steele, Anthony Terry and Martin Terry; sister, Marsha Jenkins; two brothers, Danny Bohon and Mike Bohon; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
