A 16-year-old girl was hospitalized after her SUV left a Daviess County road and overturned down an embankment. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Alexes Latimer of Hamilton escaped with minor injuries.

According to the crash report, Ms Latimer was driving along 210th Street about half a mile south of Yale Ave. in Hamilton at 5:46 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a 90-degree curve.

The Mitsubishi Montero came to rest on its driver’s side along the south side of the roadway. Latimer was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
