A Kansas State trooper was seriously hurt Thursday morning during a rollover accident in the Leavenworth area.

Investigators say the trooper was on his way to a call trying to pass a vehicle near 183rd Street and Highway 24 when he overcorrected and rolled into a ditch.

An online report from the KHP identifies the trooper as Joshua Reischman, 28, of Tonganoxie.  Reischman was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries.
