Platte County officials announced a detour caused by a water main break.

Missouri Highway 9 is closed between Cadwallder and Platte Hills Road (North of Parkville) due to a water main break.

The road is expected to be closed until noon on Wednesday. Travelers are advised to use alternate routes during the closure.
