St Joe joins National Trails Day celebration with scavenger hunts Saturday!

American Hiking Society National Trails Day
This Saturday, June 4, has been designated as National Trails Day by the American Hiking Society. The City of St Joseph is joining the party.

This is the largest celebration for trails in the United States. Events will be held across the country to encourage people to get out onto the trails systems in their communities.

St. Joseph is joining in the effort by hosting a scavenger hunt along two different trail sections. The scavenger hunt will take place on June 4, from 10am-4pm, along the Riverwalk from the Remington Nature Center to Riverfront Park downtown, and along the trail that runs between the REC Center and Noyes Tennis Complex.

Scavenger hunt riddle sheets can be obtained by visiting the Remington Nature Center, the REC Center, Fairview Golf Course or the Aquatic Park. Answers to the riddles will be available at these locations once you have completed your scavenger hunt.

Participate in one or both of the scavenger hunts. Compete against your friends or take the family out for a day of fun.
