Three seriously hurt in crash north of Faucett

Three people were hospitalized in serious condition after a crash Friday north of Faucett.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report says an Amity, Missouri man failed to negotiate a turn along Missouri Highway 371 at Route A. and crashed head on with an S.U.V.

An online reort from Troop H indicates the driver was arrested for DWI/Assault, Careless & Imprudent Driving, No Insurance, and Failure to Drive Within the Right Half of the Roadway. The 42-year-old Amity, Missouri man was released to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of what were described as serious injuries.

Two occupants of the S.U.V. suffered serious injuries. They are identified by the patrol as Jessee Miller, 32, of Saint Joseph and Dobie Smith, 55 of Gower. The pair were transported to Mosaic Life Care.
