The St. Joseph Police Department in conjunction with the Northwest Missouri DWI Task Force conducted a sobriety checkpoint in the 3500 block of Frederick Ave on July 1, 2016.

During the five hours of the operation officers checked 414 vehicles. There were two arrests for DWI, eight for drug violations, two for warrants, and eight for driver’s license violations.
