Heat advisories and flood warnings in your 7-day forecast

weather graphic 160719A heat advisory remains in effect until Friday evening. The heat index could range from 100 to 108 degrees each afternoon. Flood warnings are in effect along the Missouri River, affecting Doniphan, Andrew and Buchanan counties. Flood warnings continue for the Platte, Tarkio and 102 rivers.

Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service.

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 102. South wind 5 to 11 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 75. South wind 6 to 9 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 95. Heat index values as high as 105. South southwest wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 77. South wind 8 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 99. South southwest wind 9 to 11 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 76.

Friday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 98.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 76.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 96.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.
