A 32-year-old Blythedale man was seriously hurt in the crash of a four-wheeler on a private trail early Saturday morning.

Gregory Welch is being treated for serious injuries after the crash on private property northeast of Blythedale.

A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says Welch was driving a Honda Sportrax when he lost control of the vehicle.

Welch was ejected when the four-wheeler careened down a steep embankment and overturned. He was transported to Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa, where he’s being treated for serious injuries.
