Two Andrew County Sheriff’s Department deputies have been awarded by the Missouri Sheriff’s Association.
Daniel Glidden was awarded the 2016 Missouri Deputy Sheriff of the Year Award last week during the annual Missouri Sheriff’s conference banquet in Osage Beach. Reserve Deputy Sheriff Christopher Anderson was also awarded the Missouri Reserve Deputy Sheriff of the Year Award.
Andrew County Sheriff Bryan Atkins said the awards were presented to both deputies by Grundy County Sheriff Rodney Herring, who serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Missouri Sheriff’s Association and the Director of Operations for the Association, Kevin Merritt.
“These awards were presented for the outstanding service that each of the deputies gave to the Sheriff’s Office and to the County for which they work during the past year,” Atkins said. “Andrew County citizens should be very proud to have both deputies recognized for the outstanding performance and service by Sheriffs all across the State of Missouri.”
