
The St. Joseph School District said it has openings in it’s Oak Grove Elementary school’s paid preschool program.
The district said there are opening for morning and afternoon preschool for 3 and 4-year-olds, as well as 5-year-olds who are not entering kindergarten this year. Students will need to have at least turned 3 years old by Aug. 1, 2016 to qualify. Preschool will begin Monday, Aug. 22, 2016.
The tuition for the SJSD paid preschool program is $15 a day, with a $49 registration fee. Pre-schoolers attend four days a week for three hours. Enrollment will be based on availability, on a first-come, first serve basis. Parents who are interested in enrolling should contact Oak Grove at (816) 671-4290.
Oak Grove preschool is taught by a Missouri certified classroom teacher with specific certifications in early childhood education and early childhood special education, who also has kindergarten teaching experience. There are two adults in each class with up to 15 students.
