Four killed in NE Kansas crash

KHP-Patch2.jpgA two vehicle crash in northeastern Kansas claimed four lives Thursday morning.

According to a crash report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a teenager from Topeka crossed the center line along U.S. Highway 24 east of Silver Lake, Kansas at 7:20 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators say a second vehicle in oncoming traffic struck the first car on the passenger side in a side impact.

The KHP identifies the victims as Devin Greeve, 17, Gaby Greeve, 11, and Tyler Crouse, 14, all of Topeka, in the first vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle, 47-year-old Lance Lenard of Rossville, Kansas, was also killed. Lenard’s passenger, Kade Lenard, 13, of Rossville, was injured in the crash and was transported Stormont Vail Health Care in Topeka.
