Three people including a toddler were injured in a crash in Clinton County Saturday morning.  The head-on crash happened at 11:15 a.m. on Missouri Highway 116 west of Plattsburg. According to the crash report, Eric Shields crossed the center line in a Chrysler 200. That vehicle hit a Ford Taurus in oncoming traffic.

The 31-year-old Kansas City, Kansas man suffered serious injuries. His three-year-old daughter Emma Shields suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment.

The other driver, 66-year-old Lana Fowler of Kansas City, Missouri, was transported to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
