Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Stanton Jr. 37, Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care Hospital. He was born March 2, 1979 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Mona and Ronald Stanton. He attended Benton High School. He married Tiffany Ebling on 2/27/2016. He worked at Triumph Food and at several other jobs. Survivors include, wife, Tiffany Stanton of the home, mother, Mona (Marty) Bradley of St. Joseph, MO, father, Ronald Wayne Stanton, Sr. of Kansas City, MO, son, Dallas Stanton, four step-children: Kailyn Roberts, Gage Westcott, Shilyn Butterfield, and Gavin Butterfield, a sister, Brandy (Timmy) Roberts, niece, Delana, and nephew, Kenny.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Rupp Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Shirley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the King Hill Cemetery. Memorials are requested in lieu of flowers to the Ronnie Stanton Jr Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.

Catherine B Johnson
1931-2016

Catherine B. Johnson, 84, of Savannah, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care Hospital. She was born October 30, 1931 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Nellie and Claude Grooms. She married Roy Lee Johnson Sr. on February 11, 1948, and he preceded her in death. She worked at Whitaker Cable, Muny Inn, and Cordineers Place. She loved spending time with her grand kids, and she enjoyed watching TV, Bingo, drawing and art. She was a Pentecostal. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Roy Johnson, Jr., daughter, Karen Johnson, brothers, Clifton, Claude, Jr., and Bob, sisters, Viola, Margaret, Ruth, Jackie, and Elizabeth. Survivors include her 9 children: Judy (Norman) Hardin, Savannah, MO, Connie Brushwood, St. Joseph, MO, Vickie (Tom) Heavilin, Savannah, MO, Virna Libby (David Weidmaier) St. Joseph, MO, Norman “Woody” Johnson, Savannah, MO, Steven (Julie) Johnson, Edward Johnson, Terry (Diana) Johnson, and Timothy Johnson, all of St. Joseph, MO, and over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sandi K. Gerstner, 65, Amazonia, Missouri passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care.
She was born August 10, 1951 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Sandi married James Gerstner August 19, 1994.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Z. and Hattie Merritt; brothers, Dick, Bob and Shorty; and sister-in-law, Jamie.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, James; daughters, Ami (Andrea) and Marti (John); grandchildren, Sierra and Jaymes; sister, Frances (Frank) and Ethel (Fred); and sisters-in-law, Jackie, Janice and Codi.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Parish Rosary 6:00 P.M.
