Amity man injured in Saturday crash

Train With MSHPA Northwest Missouri man suffered moderate injuries when his pickup left an Andrew County highway and rammed into a tree Saturday night. Online records from the Missouri State Highway Patrol allege the victim may have been driving while impaired or intoxicated.

According to a crash report, Travis Durfey was driving eastbound on Route V east of Rochester when the pickup left the road, hit a driveway, went airborne, then hit the ground and struck a tree.

The 38-year-old Amity, Missouri man was transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of what were described as moderate injuries.
