Police are investigating the cause of a crash that sent four people to the hospital with serious injuries Sunday night.

According to the St. Joseph Police Department, a two vehicle crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 600 block of the North Belt. Four people were seriously injured and transported to the hospital.

The Belt Highway from approximately Faraon Street to Frederick Avenue was closed until 5:30 a.m. Monday.
