Deputies with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office are participating in ‘No Shave November’ in an effort to raise funds for the department’s Secret Santa program.

The office said during the month of November most of its employees are tossing out the razor to raise funds to help Livingston County seniors and families in need.

The office said historically the funds raised go to help citizens in the community in situations beyond their control.  The sheriff and deputies have placed food and staples in pantries for people who are struggling, infrared heaters in homes for some with little or no heat and have even bought appliances for seniors going without.
