A 56-year-old Missouri man is dead after crashing his ATV along Route-KK in Nodaway County Sunday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Mark Armentrout of Elmo, Missouri was driving a Kawasaki 450R ATV in Elmo shortly before 6pm Sunday when the rear of the vehicle started to spin.

According to the crash report, the muffler struck a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn and eject Armentrout.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Nodaway County Coroner Dr. Vince Shelby.
