Breezy southerly winds will allow temperatures to warm into the mid 50s to lower 60s across the Metro and central Missouri however, cloud cover and the chance for showers will keep temperatures in the mid 40s across northern Missouri. A cold front will move through the area tonight and temperatures will be much cooler tomorrow and through the rest of the week with highs in the lower 30s to near 40. Tonight: A chance of rain, mainly before 9 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. South southeast wind 11 to 16 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday: A slight chance of rain and snow before 2 p.m, then a slight chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 35. West northwest wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday Night: A slight chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 35. West northwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
