Two injured in DeKalb County crash

wpid-mshp-logo111.jpgA one vehicle crash sent two to the hospital Sunday afternoon in DeKalb County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Marla Williams, 56 from Bethany was driving a 2004 Saturn Ion southbound on I-35 around 3:30 p.m. in Cameron when the vehicle traveled into the median. Williams then over corrected and the vehicle went across the road and into a guardrail. Williams was transported by ambulance to Cameron then taken to Liberty Hospital with what was described as moderate injuries. Her passenger, Heath Moravec, 15 of Kearney was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Both were reported to be wearing their seat belts.
