The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the results of a checkpoint held over the weekend in Livingston County resulted in two dozen warnings.

Troop H said the checkpoint was held from 10 p.m Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday. During the operation officers issued 24 warnings and checked the drivers of 136 vehicles.  No arrests were listed in the news release.

“There is no room for impaired drivers on Missouri roadways. If you choose to drink and drive, you will lose,” said Captain James E. McDonald, commanding officer Troop H, St. Joseph. “If your plans include consuming alcohol, have a sober designated driver.”
