MWSU women’s golf finishes 9th at NCAA Central Region Preview

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Missouri Western women’s golf team finished in ninth place with a 638 at the NCAA Central Region Preview at Rivercut Golf Course Tuesday.

Shi Qing Ong led Missouri Western with a 154 and finished tied for eighth place. Chong Yong ended a stroke behind Ong, in 12th, place with a 155. Tiffanie Yabut carded a 165. Madison Romjue and Jenna Kosmatka each recorded a 173 for MWSU.

Northeastern State won the team title with a 145 as NSU’s Ebba Moberg won the individual championship with a 145. Missouri Western is in action on April 24 at the MIAA Championships in Kansas City, Missouri.
