Crash with motorcycle kills two

MSHP patchA motorcyclist and his passenger were killed in a crash in Saline County, Missouri Friday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an 80-year-old Marshall, Mo. woman failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle on U.S. Highway 65 at College Street in Marshall at 6:30 p.m. Friday. According to the crash report, the Harley Davidson crashed into the other vehicle and both were ejected.

The report indicates that Nathaniel Offield, 38, and Shelley Offield, 37, both of Marshall, were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital where they were pronounced dead. The other driver, identified as Janice Jones of Marshall, was not injured in the crash.
