A teenager from St. Joseph was injured Sunday evening in a crash on I-29 in Platte County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Chloe Keesler, 18, was driving north on the interstate at the 9.8 mile marker at 6:14 p.m. Sunday when her vehicle left the highway and hit a concrete barrier. A crash report indicates the vehicle came to rest partially in the roadway, where it was struck by another vehicle.

Keesler suffered what were described as moderate injuries in the crash and was transported to St. Luke’s Northland Hospital. The other driver was not injured.
