A St. Joseph woman who allegedly jumped bail in April in two separate burglary cases is back in custody.

As we reported, Shannon Schremser disappeared April 27, when she was scheduled for court appearances. Associate Judge Keith Marquart and Circuit Judge Daniel Kellogg each revoked Schremser’s bond and issued bench warrants for her arrest.

According to online records, Schremser, 21, was arrested Monday and booked into the Buchanan County Jail Monday evening.

Court records do not yet reflect new dates for the postponed hearings.

Schremser, along with Jeff Pendleton of Union Star, were both charged with burglary after police say they searched her house and found stolen items, including a Lexus, taken during a burglary in the 2300 block of Mansfield Road.

A day after posting bail in that case, Schremser was charged with burglary again. In that case, authorities said she was found in possession of financial documents belonging to a man’s deceased wife which were reported missing in a home burglary Feb. 17 at a home on S.E. Horn Road
