A Maryville woman was seriously injured after a crash with a semi Tuesday afternoon in Nodaway County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 37-year-old Allison L. Gresham was driving a Chevrolet Malibu south on US 71 at 1:25 p.m., about six miles east of Graham, when she failed to notice a 1991 Peterbilt also traveling in the southbound lane. Gresham’s vehicle hit the back of the truck. 

Gresham was transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of serious injuries. No injuries were reported for the other driver, 74-year-old James L. Linville of Graham.
