A Hamilton man was seriously injured in a dump truck crash Tuesday morning in Caldwell County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 44-year-old Robert S. Feigly was driving a dump truck east on US 36 at 11:38 a.m. Feigly lost control of the vehicle after the front driver’s side tire failed. The vehicle traveled into the median, hit the terrain and overturned, coming to rest on its top in the westbound lanes of US 36, blocking both lanes. 

Feigly was transported by Caldwell County EMS to Liberty Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. According to the crash report, Feigly was wearing a seatbelt.
